For Bookers -Notes On StyleIt is hard to compare what I do because so few folks are doing 80’s music. DJ Jake Rudh in Minneapolis does similar shows to what I do at the First Ave. and the Uptown VFW Club. My basic philosophy is to let the music speak for itself. I do use a sortable database on an iPad that helps me flow by key and/or tempo. And I intermix bigger hits with lesser known tunes. This is what folks really want: Something novel mixed with something familiar.
